Ava had her 4 month check up last week [she is in fact 5 months but LIFE got in the way].. holy heck it's been so hard to balance, schedule, plan, or dooo a n y t h i n g for that matter - lately, we have been under the weather on and off for the last couple weeks; thankfully this mama hasn't been bothered.. *knock on wood*
BUT our pediatrician gave us the okay to try baby foods with Ava - YES LORD. I need sleep. I also want her to need me as much as she does.. but I think a fat meal before bed might help with her sleeping for longer stretches. OR just have bigger blow out at 5 am.
I'll choose my battles.
Literally caught this little chubster trying to take a peek and sneak a sniff,.. "Oh hey mom, I'm not doing anything.." We tried Amara Organic Baby food for the first time, Banana, and I can honestly say, it smells like bananas.. not throw up. Amara Baby Food is the really next step from having the freshest fruits & veggies for your children.
All organic ingredients are preserved in a unique form to retain the fruit & vegetables' original nutrients and aroma.
My top 3 favorites about Amara Baby Food:
1. NUMBER ONE by far is how e a s y it is to prepare. You can pour it in a bowl, mix in a little breastmilk or water, stir and ta-da!
2. All organic ingredients is always a plus - when transitioning from exclusively breastfeeding to solids.. it's scary. But knowing it's top of the line organic ingredients & it's promised by preparation [unique technique that uses cold and pressure to lock in the essential nutrients and goodness of the fruits and vegetables. This method of making baby food has a number of nutritional advantages. It prevents fruit and vegetables from being damaged in repeated high heat processes, which means that more nutrients and other healthy stuff stays intact.] I was sold on letting Ava try it.
3. So small, slim, sleek.. literally can fit 7 of these in my back pocket. They are so convenient to bring ANYWHERE!
Save to say someone was a BIG fan!
Each packet is also age specified on the front by month.. We can't wait to try the 'Apple-Maqui Berry' when she hits 8+ months!
